ABOUT ME
I'm Shannon, the director of Hart Productions Multimedia. Born and raised in Camden NSW, Australia. I was that quirky little kid back at school who would rather master my impressions of the teachers than complete my school work.
Then I was the teenager who was a fanatic of film and cinema while the other 'normal kids' played cricket and football. It was the 1980's after all, and it really was the golden years of Hollywood for me!
MY STORY

How I got started in film​
​Imagination, creativity and writing is something that some people excel at naturally. You either have it, or you don't! I was always able to weave a great story out of anything and everything. At the age of 12, my grandmother gave me her Super 8 silent movie camera, projector, and screen. I quickly developed a love for the art of camera operation, planning a set, making props, casting my friends as actors, editing, and matching music to the production, to finally setting up a home theatre in the family garage and charging 10 cents for entry to view the masterpiece (extra 20 cents for popcorn). I guess you really can say, the rest is history.

As the decades past, I remained involved in the hobby of film, be it building movie props, filming family videos, or creative writing. I produced the successful YouTube channel Camp Winnie while motorhoming around Australia with my family for two years, full time. We became brand ambassadors for Avida Motorhomes & Caravans, the oldest and largest motorhome manufacturer in Australia.

I later became involved in freelance writing about those experiences for The Wanderer, Australia's largest RV magazine.
My passion then transitioned into a full time pursuit for me.

Besides my experiences, am I formally trained?
​Yes! I was previously employed in a government media role, where I was formally trained to write at an executive level. These briefings were often used in NSW state parliament. Whilst this was a privileged, trusted position, I forever craved that creativity and independence to produce film and literature that I was passionate about.

Hart Productions Multimedia was born, and in 2026 I returned to full time study into the Diploma of Film and Media.

What is multimedia?​
Anyone engaged in creative writing, story telling, content creation, producing short and long films, script writing, podcasts, books, media articles, and then distributes across multiple platforms such as social media, the web, and podcast platforms, can be regarded as being engaged in multimedia.
